Hysaurion & Crossaurion

Important: This species of Saurion is still being worked on and is limited to adopts from Sera only.

Saurions can have children with other Saurions regardless of subspecies and with various furry species. When Saurions breed with other Saurions they have children who have traits from both parents, and this is cross breeding. They don’t typically specify what kind of Saurion they are as they may identify with both parents, and saurions have been together for so long that every saurion has some other subspecies’ dna in them. Crossbred saurion may even exhibit traits not found in either parent, so these saurion just prefer to be called Crossaurion. Saurion who breed with other species will also inherit traits from their nonsaurion parent but are unlikely to develop new traits not found in their parents. These saurion are hybrids and prefer to be called Hysaurion. All saurion are accepted as Saurion. 

 

Currently these two kinds of Saurion are adopts, only made by the creator Sera Proto and in the future, approved artists. To ensure people aren’t making these without permission Sera uses a masterlist, entry to the masterlist comes at no extra cost beyond the adoption. Crossaurion and Hysaurion are closed in order to ensure that Saurions made this way retain their identity and are easily identifiable as Saurions. If others are allowed to make them the species may lose its identity.
